The operating factor cB
To achieve a uniform lifetime for the gearheads and motors, the necessary torques M must be increased by the respective operating factor cB under the various operating loads so as not to exceed the maximum permissible gearhead torque M2 max (see table below).
Operating mode
It is necessary to define the operating mode under which a gear motor can be operated with certain nominal values in order to avoid overloading the motor and / or the gearhead. The values stated on this page refer to S1 operation (continuous operation). This means that the gear motor can be constantly operated with the stated values, but can also have a higher load placed on it for a short time.
