Come on in

At the “Open Day”, on the 22nd of September, ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik provided a glimpse of its facilities, its procedures and gearhead production process. From the CAD programme for three-dimensional component display, all the way to the finished gear motor, more than 600 visitors were able to obtain an idea of our modern company’s top position in technology terms. For its part, the personnel department set out various innovative further training options, such as a new type of training programme worked out specially for women, thereby underlining how the company is leading the way in its sector, as well as in its region.

50 years of ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik in the town of Lauf, covering everything from the foundation of the time switch manufacturing company in 1957 by Eduard Horz, to the development of the Performax® planetary gear and the introduction of the innovative, intelligent EtaCrown® angular gear. The interested guests were familiarised with these and other significant milestones by means of an impressive presentation.

To the delight of all concerned, a type of roulette was played with the newly built automatic small parts storage system. Those interested were able to try out how the system works in return for a small contribution to the charitable Hubert-Schwarz-Stiftung. The proceeds were equally divided between a project to help disadvantaged children in Middle Franconia and a school project in Tanzania.
